Cleaning and Maintenance of Tensile Testing Machines

Cleaning of the tensile testing machine needs to be divided into two parts: external cleaning and internal cleaning. External cleaning mainly targets the equipment casing, control panel, and display screen. After daily use, wipe surface dust with a soft, dry cloth, avoiding the use of cleaning agents containing corrosive chemicals to prevent damage to the surface coating. For the buttons on the control panel, gently wipe them with a cotton swab dipped in a small amount of alcohol to ensure button sensitivity.

Internal cleaning needs to be performed regularly, focusing on cleaning the machine's fixtures, transmission components, and the areas around the sensors. During cleaning, first turn off the power and disconnect the power cord. Use a dedicated vacuum cleaner or compressed air to blow away accumulated dust, paying particular attention to cleaning the transmission screw and guide rails. If oil stains or impurities are found, wipe them with a lint-free cloth dampened with a small amount of neutral detergent, then wipe dry with a dry cloth to prevent residual moisture from causing metal parts to rust.
